Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way. Here is exactly what CreaVisionArt uses.
Cookies the site needs
These cookies are essential: without them the site could not work, so they don't need your consent. None of them is used to track you.
- sessionid — keeps you signed in and remembers your cart and, for free downloads without an account, the email you entered. It lasts two weeks; if you sign in, it lasts 30 days when you tick "Remember me" and until you close the browser when you don't.
- csrftoken — protects the site's forms from fraudulent submissions. It lasts one year.
- django_language — remembers the language you chose. It lasts one year.
- messages — shows short notices such as "Message sent" after you submit a form. It is deleted as soon as the notice has been shown.
- site-theme (cookie and local storage) — remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It lasts one year.
- cookieConsent (local storage) — remembers your choices in the cookie banner, so I don't ask again on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser data.
Payments and Google sign-in
On the payment page only, Stripe, which handles payments, sets its own cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. They are necessary to pay and are covered by Stripe's privacy policy, which you can find at stripe.com.
If you choose "Sign in with Google", you are taken to Google's own site, where Google's cookies and privacy policy apply.
Statistics and advertising
The banner includes the Preferences, Statistics and Advertising categories, ready for the future, but today I use none of them: no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Turning them on changes nothing. If I ever add one of these tools, I will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Changing your choices
Your choice is saved in your browser. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings: the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser at any time; just keep in mind that without the necessary cookies, signing in, the cart and the forms won't work.
